I forge these out of 16 gauge sheet steel. They're 6.75 in diameter and weigh about 12 ounces. They come coated with a food safe oil that's baked on while they're still hot. Add a little oil when cooking and they are EXTREMELY non stick. They wipe out and clean up nicely. If you need a heavier one for the kitchen check out my fixed handle skillet. Same great qualities without the extend-o-handle, and a little bit fancier.
