Extremely Rare Vintage Cast Iron Size 16 Prison Skillet ***Condition Issues*** This pan is believed to have been made in a prison foundry in Edddyville, Kentucky but has also been speculated to have been made in an early Tennessee Foundry not much is known about where these magnificent massive pans were made This pan appears to have take a large impact at some point in its life resulting in a crack in the sidewall that goes half way down between 2 and 3 o’clock, this also caused some spider webbing on the cooking surface that does not do through to the back There is a chip on the upper lip at 11 o’clock as well as some pitting on and around the assist tab Pan does have a wobble corrected by three playing cards at 2 o’clock Huge and heavy pan!
