If you have just one kitchen tool then let it be the Homestead Cleaver. The Homestead is as tough as it gets. Perhaps you’re breaking down beef ribs, elk, moose, venison, chopping through lobster shells, or separating a whole chicken. You need a tool that can withstand the impact. This cleaver is made from 1084 High Carbon steel, forged and heat-treated to be tough enough for any job. The Homestead is sharp enough to use as a large kitchen knife. The ergonomic handle is well balanced and places the weight forward for an easy chop. I patterned this off of an old meat cleaver that was found on an old farm here in Oregon. The Homestead cleaver is the flagship product. It is what tamed the frontier and is the tool that started my journey.  Made from 1084 high carbon.
