Bormioli Rocco's Lock-Eat jars have seal-tight lids with rubber gaskets—so they're great for preserving, canning, and storing. (We love 'em for serving too.).
Talk about being top of their glass: The Bormioli family started making their renown wares in Genoa, Italy, in the 1600s. Now they're making these Lock-Eat canning jars, which are just the ticket for preserving, canning, storing, pickling, and all the rest. The swing-top lids have rubber gaskets to keep things nice and airtight, plus—plot twist—you can remove them entirely if you please. (That means these double as serving dishes and are blessedly easy to clean). Did we mention they are freezer friendly too? Bring on the pickles, sauerkraut, jams, and to-go salads. More about those lids: They're great for preserving and canning foods. (Just pull up on the lid when you're done to make sure you've got a tight seal.) When you’re ready to dig in? Pull the rubber gasket towards you to release the seal, lift up the glass lid, and you’re in.
