Up for your consideration is this incredible New Old Stock #20 Vintage Lodge Cast Iron Skillet with Dual Handles. The original paper label is included and was removed for seasoning. The label has partially fallen apart from years in storage. The cooking surface has never been touch with food or cooking utensils, so ALL of the original foundry grinding/milling is still present! This pan is a true testament to the craftsmanship and quality of vintage cast iron cookware and would be cherished in any home! Lodge Was founded in 1896 by Joseph Lodge as the Blacklock Foundry in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The foundry produced a wide range of cast iron cookware and other items. In 1910, the foundry was destroyed by a fire and was rebuilt and named Lodge. Lodge is still in operation today and remains in the city it started in! Cleaned and Seasoned, ready to display, use, or gift! Sits flat with slight movement, no cracks, rust, or repairs. Unlike today’s cookware, this piece will literally last a lifetime. Cast iron not only becomes non-stick with use; it will last a lifetime with proper care, adds iron to your diet, is chemical free, and is extremely versatile!
