The handcrafted Sobu Series is exceptionally sharp, beautifully sleek and minimalistic. Hand sharpened blades feature a unique 67 layer Damascus pattern across the face of the Japanese VG10 high-alloy steel full tang blades. Rich walnut handles balance each knife while providing exceptional comfort and precision for the chef. Each knife comes with its own magnetic walnut wood sheath to protect the blade in storage. Hand wash and dry immediately. These knives are forged in a factory that was founded in 1956 in a knife manufacturing district located in Solingen, Germany also known as the “City of Blades”. Solingen has been known for quality blades since the Middle Ages and has continued this tradition of further developing the design and functionality of cutlery into the modern day. This factory is well known as one of the few knife manufacturers who still performs 100% of the production tasks, from the initial forging to the final polishing of these professional caliber knives. Ultimately, design and high quality according to the German standard is the prime focus of said factory.
