# ½ Potjie Flat Bottom Potjie Flat 2 qt Pure Cast Iron Bean pot   Boil, bake, or brew in this superbly versatile cauldron-style pot. Made from solid foundry-cast iron, the pot is adorned with concentric raised ribs around its curved belly. Keep the contents from losing heat and moisture with the well-fitted lid; tote the cauldron or hang it over an open fire with the sturdy arched handle that runs from opposite points of the turned rim. This size option for our flat potjie is 4.5 inches tall and a squat 7.5 inches wide. It has a two-quart, half-gallon fluid capacity and weighs a manageable 7 pounds.
