To ensure optimal performance in and around the oven, the 39" high-heat sensor cable can withstand temperatures up to 716 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 hours. The needle point probe is ideal for use in direct insertion applications, such as when monitoring roasts and other meats in the oven or on the grill.<br><br>In addition to measuring food and oven temperature, the thermometer includes a timer that reads in hours/minutes/seconds format with a maximum time of 10 hours.
