The Great Scrape is an all natural BBQ cleaning tool and a great alternative to metal wire brushes. Made from solid hardwood and coated with an all-natural, non-toxic, food safe oil, The Great Scrape is designed for years of use. The Woody features a 12-inch depth, and it is lightweight so you can take it with you tailgating or to the camp. You do not have to worry about metal bristles damaging your grill or getting into your food. The Woody has a beveled edge that uniquely fits to your grill grates. Once your grill gets hot, place the beveled edge on the front of your grill grates. Using slow but firm pressure, pass the Great Scrape front to back on the hot grill grates. Initially the grooves will be small, but as you continue to use the Great Scrape the grooves will get deeper, eventually covering the cooking surface of each individual grate. The Great Scrape is safe to use on all straight rod style cooking grates. After use, the Great Scrape can be cleaned by simply wiping debris of the tip with a paper towel or napkin.
